Rhode Island Food Culture: Dining, Drinking & Food Stuff

The future is here -- rather it's what they've had in Europe for some years now: the formule it's called in France and it's the best value there is. Three courses, one price and a great deal. Gracie's, New Rivers, Chez Pascal, we know for sure -- what other places in Greater and Lesser Providence are taking the plunge?

i've been doing prixe fixe dinners at nicks since 2002. before i moved to 500 broadway that's all i offered for dinner. since the move in 2006, i've offered both an a la carte menu and a tasting or prixe fixe menu.

We had a wonderful dinner at Gracie's a couple of weeks ago. The three course deal is fantastic, but the food was so good we prolonged it to seven courses. Chef Joe is one of the finest talents in the city!
